BLZFAN4LIFE Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 So, screaming = wins? I guess the X's and O's are overrated. Someone should tell Bill Belichick. Give it up. Singletary already has a better win percentage than Jauron. Plus Singletary beat Jauron in Buffalo. But don't let facts get in the way of your man crush for disappointed Dick Mauron.

But don't let facts get in the way of your man crush for disappointed Dick Mauron. Who said i had a man crush on Dick Jauron? Your so called "facts" are anything but. "Intensity and courage" have almost nothing to do with winning football games. There have been dozens of coaches who have screamed their heads off, but guess what? They failed because they couldn't outsmart their opponent. Pulling your pants down means sh-- when you can't figure out how to stop your opponent from marching down the field.

So it's safe to say that you prefer the lifeless scarecrow approach? As I pointed out, Singletary has already outsmarted Jauron.
Fingon Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 So it's safe to say that you prefer the lifeless scarecrow approach? It's safe to say that it doesn't matter. If you can game plan effectively and make in-game adjustments, you will win in the NFL. Bill Belichick is the portrait of stoicism, yet he wins every year.

Fingon Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 To be fair, Belichick does get animated from time to time... So does every single coach in the NFL.

I'm specifically saying that I like Singletary's style and I would take him in a heartbeat over Jauron. I also believe that Singletary would get more out of the Bills than Jauron could ever dream of.
GOBILLS78 Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 So does every single coach in the NFL. Well then, if anybody's a portrait of stoicism, it's Jauron.

Your original post seems to correlate screaming with winning, I'm just demonstrating that that is patently false. Singletary could very well have a good coaching career, but it won't be because of his lack of pants.

Yes, it will be because of his intensity, his hatred of losing, and the fact that he wears his heart on his sleeve. He won't hesitate to call out a player who is under performing. All of the things that made him a great player will make him a great head coach.
bowery4 Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Freddy will win #1 running back spot and make the pro bowl. The fins win the division again.
PromoTheRobot Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 1) Terrell Owens will have a solid year but he will resign with the Cowboys. 2) Next year's biggest off-season thread will be debating whether the Bills made generous offer to T.O. to stay or if the Bills low-balled him and lost him. PTR
