buckeyemike Posted June 12, 2009 Share Posted June 12, 2009 With public employees, you're going to be seeing a LOT more of this in the next few years. I think that the dam's just starting to break. The guarantee of having fat pensions and free health care in their later years (which is really the main reason why most people in government work there instead of in private industry) just isn't realistic anymore. Chef Jim Posted June 12, 2009 Share Posted June 12, 2009 When I worked in a restaurant I could come in whenever I wanted and get treated like a king with free food and booze. It was very cool when I worked at some of the top celebrity hang outs in the 80's when I was in my 20's and people wondered who I was.
