ExiledInIllinois Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I remember reading one of Rock's old history articles... Didn't the Bills hold training camp in Blasdell @ a motel during the early years? Wow... How times have changed!
todd Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 My personal opinion is that it won't move. There's too much invested, too much involved in the marketing of a regional bills team that they would need to start over with. Not only that, Russ Brandon went to Fisher and is an active alumni. I actually graduated the same year as him, I think, but didn't really know him. Ralph Wilson also has some investment in Fisher, so I'm not sure he would want to move either. There's no way it would move back to Buffalo. It wouldn't make sense.
todd Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 If they truely want to regionalize now. It needs to be somewhere between the southtowns, Rochester & Toronto. It should be in Buffalo or Niagara Falls!! That just doesn't make sense. You don't regionalize by moving camp back to Buffalo.
Mike32282 Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I hope you are wrong, Jay! It would be a horrible move to end the partnership now. St. John Fisher is a perfect location and they have done everything that the team has asked them to.
tonyjustbcuz Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I only read a few of these posts but it wouldn't surprise me if they moved their training camp to Toronto! That would really erk me, but they don't care about my prospective or they would have drafted B. Orakpo etc........Oh well Go Bills!
