damj Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I was cleaning out my office and found an unopened box of Flutie Flakes from 1999. Bidding starts at $1.00
stuckincincy Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 $6.00 if you obtain a Jimmie Johnson mask and stomp on it.
damj Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 I shook the box ... there's reason to believe it might still be edible.
Lori Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I shook the box ... there's reason to believe it might still be edible. Hahahaha. That stuff wasn't edible BEFORE the sell-by date.
McD Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I still have 3 or 4 boxes of the stuff! I have some kind of Hasek Hot Sauce too.
BillsFanNC Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I still have a box too. When I moved into my house six years ago one of my friends displayed it prominently up high on a shelf in the garage. It hasn't moved since.
metzelaars_lives Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I have a box of Kelly Krunch- never got quite the hype that Flutie Flakes got
damj Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 I still have a box too. When I moved into my house six years ago one of my friends displayed it prominently up high on a shelf in the garage. It hasn't moved since. Mine once belonged to a Canadian Environmental Scientist who worked in our office. When he took a job, I called dibs on his Flutie Flakes and hockey pucks ... I got a box and 2 goat Head Sabres pucks out of it ... sweeeeet!
PTS Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Flutie Flakes are awesome with Hasek's Hot Sauce and Peca's Pickles added to it.

The Senator Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I have 2 boxes myself. What is the half-life of a Flutie Flake?

fansince61 Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I shook the box ... there's reason to believe it might still be edible. Assuming it was ever edible in the first place.
