dbringer Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 What's this with Tom Golisano dating Monica Seles? http://msn.foxsports.com/tennis/story/9666...nnis-star-Seles? When I heard about a May-December romance between the owner of a Buffalo sports team and a tennis star, I figured it would be Ralph Wilson, given his love for tennis. The visual here is sickening.
Peter Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Isn't she supposed to be a Sabres fan? I thought that I read that some time ago. I hope that she is also a Bills fan.
inkman Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Good for him. Making yourself into a billionaire should have its benefits.
stinky finger Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Sure, he likes her now. He'll just end up stabbing her in the back.

Like Mel Brooks once said; "It's Good To Be The King!"
VJ91 Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Isn't she supposed to be a Sabres fan? I thought that I read that some time ago. I hope that she is also a Bills fan. Why, does Ralph need a date too?
Peter Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Why, does Ralph need a date too? It was a reference to motivating Golisano to buy the Bills (and keep them in Buffalo) when the Bills are sold.
Peter Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Like Mel Brooks once said; "It's Good To Be The King!" Exactly. The other line that comes to mind is the one from Scarface about power, money, and women.
Kipers Hair Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Someone tell him to focus on the Sabres. After watchiung that game last night - I am sickened with them. Outside of Vaneck and Miller, (maybe to a lesser expect Roy), nobody on the Sabs see's significant ice time on those two teams....
bills_fan Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 "In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women." Good for him.
shrader Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I would've thought that Seles was older than 35, but then again, I completely forgot that those tennis girls go pro at age 6.
bbb Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 She was at the Ice Bowl with him. They interviewed him on the scoreboard and said she was next to him, but never showed her...........That seemed weird. Now, it makes sense. I guess!
stuckincincy Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 He an older guy. He should marry her. The tax laws say so. Marry a younger one, put in the estate entail stuff (these days... called pre-nups) and keep your cash out of the hands of the politicos who want to turn that cash, after some skimming, over to society's bums in exchange for votes.

He's thrice-divorced now, Cincy - he should 'play the field' before doing anything so impulsive. After all, getting married is something one does only 3 or 4 times in one's life.

Maybe she has some insight on running hockey teams. Good for Tommy Boy!
