BeastMode54 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-8-161...s-minicamp.html Just a surprise since I thought Wood was better
BillsGuyInMalta Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 It says he got some play at RG with the first team unit.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-8-161...s-minicamp.html Just a surprise since I thought Wood was better don'y you need Levitre to start before you get wood?
Astrobot Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 don'y you need Levitre to start before you get wood?
BeastMode54 Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 don'y you need Levitre to start before you get wood? HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Lurker Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-8-161...s-minicamp.html Just a surprise since I thought Wood was better Seth McKinney's a veteran and DJ will always respect that in situations where it doesn't hurt the team (and may actually help morale). Wood's going to play when he earns a spot, which hasn't occured since this is underware season...
Astrobot Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 It is clear that we're fine with letting Peters go, because we took Levitre and got Wood. So glad we didn't also take Underwood. Tell me, front office, why did we pass on B.J., Fili, and Succup?
BeastMode54 Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 Seth McKinney's a veteran and DJ will always respect that in situations where it doesn't hurt the team (and may actually help morale). Wood's going to play when he earns a spot, which hasn't occured since this is underware season... Agreed, but then why is Levitre in and not Chambers
Coach55 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Agreed, but then why is Levitre in and not Chambers Levitre may currently know the playbook better. 90% of the game is mental. If Wood doesn't know the plays, he should ride the pine until he does, regardless of ability.
Lori Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Agreed, but then why is Levitre in and not Chambers McKinney has a heck of a lot more experience than Chambers, who has started precisely five games -- one at guard -- in his NFL career. If they're keeping Levitre and Wood on specific sides, it should be easier for Levitre to move up the depth chart.
Wagon Circler Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I thought the interesting statement was that we did not even huddle once! I see hope gentlemen.
Lori Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I thought the interesting statement was that we did not even huddle once! I see hope gentlemen. Hope Tim doesn't get in trouble for reporting that ...
Beerball Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I thought the interesting statement was that we did not even huddle once! I see hope gentlemen. there's always hope on friday
WeAreMarshawn23 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I have a feeling McKinney will start at LG with Levitre subbing in for him and Wood will take all the snaps at RG.
ricojes Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Why is Levitre starting with 1st team, and Wood is not? I believe they both were declared busts in a previous thread...
VOR Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Interesting that Demetrius Bell is the backup LT. Why? That's where most expected him to be.
Lurker Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Agreed, but then why is Levitre in and not Chambers Chambers hasn't been a full-time starter in the NFL, as compared to McKinney (85 games played, 45 starts vs. 5 starts for Chambers)?
ans4e64 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I thought the interesting statement was that we did not even huddle once! I see hope gentlemen. I thought the most interesting was the bit about Marshawn not practicing. I wonder if that rumor has anything to do with it.
Lt. Dan's Revenge Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I thought the most interesting was the bit about Marshawn not practicing. I wonder if that rumor has anything to do with it. Same here, and good Lord I hope not. Talk about the LAST thing that Lynch or this team needs: Any type of added legal issues for #23. For now it's still only a big time rumor and nothing more, though.
