BillsGuyInMalta Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Clearly, getting slammed must have skipped a day since...you know...he practiced fine yesterday. You'd figure if he was being held out because of an "off-the-field incident" on Saturday, they would have held him out on Monday...
Astrobot Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Agreed, we should rename the offseason "Grammar Season". Seriously, you could spend all offseason correcting people's grammar. It is amazing the number of people who can't demonstrate an 8th grade understanding of the english language. Grammar season sucks. Technically, you don't have a verb in the highlighted sentence, as the word "demonstrate" is part of a noun phrase that is the direct object. Take your post back to your desk, and try harder.

BuffaninATL Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 It's called Firefox, and it has a built in spell checker. then maybe you need to try using a different browser, since it's pretty lame that Firefox's spellchecker misspelled "grammar"... or maybe it's even more lame that you are blaming Firefox....
Lori Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Boys...Boys.....can't we just get along? Surely you can't be serious.
Beerball Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 then maybe you need to try using a different browser, since it's pretty lame that Firefox's spellchecker misspelled "grammar"... or maybe it's even more lame that you are blaming Firefox.... what's lamer still is that you consider spellchecker a word.
nucci Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Surely you can't be serious. I am serious, and don't call me.....
Mr. WEO Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Technically, you don't have a verb in the highlighted sentence, as the word "demonstrate" is part of a noun phrase that is the direct object. Take your post back to your desk, and try harder. The verb is "is".
