bbb
This was such a sublime two hour show - on WECK. Tonight was it's last show ever, and I can't get it streaming anywhere on the net. It's annoying the crap out of me. I keep end up listening to Fox sports on stations that are supposed to have Costas on right now. Does anybody know how I can find it - or find podcasts of the show. I would listen to every episode if I could.

Buftex
I finally got one to work, if anybody cares:http://radiotime.com/program/p_109955/Cost..._the_Radio.aspx I like Costas show too. Do you mean that it will no longer be carried on WECK, or anywhere? It airs on our FOX Sports radio affilaite as well, in Austin, TX. However, during baseball season, pretty much anything they advertise on FOX Sports Radio for evening hours, is preempted by Houston Astros, or Texas Longhorns baseball games...it is pretty aggravating to the non-baseball fan... Also, I was sad to learn that Costas was dropped from the HBO lineup, for the ultra d-bag Joe Buck. Apparently, HBO fired Costas because he signed a deal with the MLB Network. They had a rule that he could not appear, regularly, on any other cable outlet...
bbb
Exactly, last night's show was the last one ever. You can really tell the quality of the show because he was playing like 3-5 minutes of the best interviews of the last 3 years and each one left me yearning for more. I knew this was coming since February. He said it was a confluence of events - starting up with mlb tv, the changing landscape of radio (I'm guessing not enough money in it anymore), etc. He (and his sidekick) said that they love it and hope someday to be back on the radio, but I doubt it. And, yeah, he's talked about the HBO thing on the radio - he has high praise for them, and said they let him do whatever he wanted on NBC, but then they made him choose between MLB and HBO, since they were both cable networks.
