DwightSchrute Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Well that would be another kick in the nuts. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/05/26/...isits-patriots/
apuszczalowski Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Why? How many people either knew of him or even thought of him as a remotly decent player until the rams released him? He gets released, visits the bills and all of the sudden the guy is this amazing player that the bills can't win without?

offde-fence Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Where would he fit in with a 3-4? Third down and long?

And while he won't be the player who will single-handedly transform the Bills' defense into a top-5 unit, he'll be an upgrade over Ellison. And any improvement is, well, and improvement.
jimbohastle51 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 http://www.bostonherald.com/blogs/sports/p...nebacker-lenon/ if the pats sign lenon, no way pisa signs just to have more competition as a backup. chicago has not even offered him a deal yet. i think buffalo is going to get this guy!!!

12Kachy Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Well, he did say that he was going to check his options. Back in the day when a girl would say that it meant, your cool but not cool enough to date. So what he is really saying is "Hey, the Bills are cool, but not cool enough to sign with". Tell him to go pound sand. Obviously the good is that if no one else signs him, then his asking price will have to drop. It's like asking a girl to the prom, her saying no then coming back because no one else wanted to go with her. You can take her to the movies instead for a fraction of the cost.

On the otherhand, it's possible that the school slickster (Pats*) scoops your girl (Pisa) up and bangs her every which way. Then you find yourself missing the prom again for the 10th season in a row.

To me it will say a lot about Pisa what his decision ends up being..... The bills have been straightforward with him and made a legit offer.......one by one his options are falling by the wayside.......

Flbillsfan#1 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 If they are desperate, what are we? A team on the rise with holes to fill. The Pats* are an AGEING team, with their best days behind them.
