Kelly the Dog Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Lou Reed's "New York" is an excellent choice, great album.
Cugalabanza Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 I'm gonna go with the first Bob Dylan album (eponymous). This one never seems to get any ink, but It's pretty damn good in my opinion.
stuckincincy Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 (eponymous) Hey! I'm the word snob here! Everybody knows that.
el Tigre Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Short Stories and Latinology by Aztex. A great duo from Texas that few have heard of. EDIT: Today by Raul Malo is another great but little known CD.

Philly McButterpants Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Gin Blossoms: New Miserable Experience - just about one the best rock n roll albums I've ever heard. Fountains of Wayne: Welcome Interstate Managers - Bought it for my kids so they would have the hit "Stacey's Mom." Turns out that most of the album is a power-pop masterpiece.
