Just thought I'd pass this along. If I can use it to find obscure refererence material on middle eastern politics, it might just be adequate for currency conversions.

The full up version is not that expensive, but for homework if you can't get enough information to collate a response out of the freeware version, I'd be very surprised. You need to learn how to scan results, so you can figure out which ones to ignore. Scan 5 or 10 source results, get the backgroud to your question, formulate your answer and submit it. It's called using the internet for research. This is actually one of the better products I've seen out there.
