nucci Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Well that's what happens when Patriots fans claim that he could start for the Bills, or even see as much time playing as he would with their team. Understood. You forgot the *
VOR Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Getting back on topic, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bears didn't make a contract offer to Tinoisamoa. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2009/05/26/b...han-tinoisamoa/

Something tells me that we're going to see Tinoisamoa as a Buffalo Bill by the end of the week.
BeastMode54 Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Doesn't look like we will be signing Pisa. The Bears are deciding between him and Hood, and now the Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that the Browns are close to signing Hood. We'll see what happens, but I bet he's a Bear in a day or two. http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/...ected_to_s.html

If Pisa wanted to truly be a Bill, and the contact our front office offered was fair, he'd be at the OTAs already. Not going to happen, methinks.
VOR Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Just because the Browns signed Hood, it doesn't mean that PT is looking any less likely. They didn't even offer him a contract, and have a lot of money tied-up in LB's.
zazie Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 I agree. If Pisa wanted to truly be a Bill, and the contact our front office offered was fair, he'd be at the OTAs already. Not going to happen, methinks. Maybe he wants a legit NFL coach and a chance to win. We have DJ. Lovie strikes me as smarter and better. Same as the janitor at my old high school. Smarter and better, than DJ.
VOR Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 You'd think that Hood would want to play for a better defense/team like the Bears over the Browns. Hmmmm.

Not going to happen, methinks. Why do I get the sense you're the kind of guy who buys the first car he looks at. IMO, Pisa's decision is not about 'truly wanting to be a Bill.' It's about seeing what teams have to offer and picking the deal that fits best for his family. Nothing suggests otherwise to this point...
Lurker Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Same as the janitor at my old high school. Based on the quality of your posts, I suppose there's some symmetry to the analogy...

The "best fit for his family" now looks like its New England. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patr...samoa_visi.html Bills have failed at this one ladies and gents.

Not necessarily... "He would project to an inside linebacker spot in the Patriots' 3-4 defense, although he doesn't have the size the Patriots usually seek for that position." According to the Chicago Tribune, he's checking out all his options... link Certainly not a 'done deal' yet - for NE*, the Bears, or the Bills.
VOR Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Well, that would explain why he hasn't signed with anyone yet. Good.
Lurker Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Bills have failed at this one ladies and gents. How about that Robert Ayres pick! It ain't over 'til its over...
WellDressed Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 love how rod wodson says brady is 100% on nfl live this afternoon.........
Commander Posted May 26, 2009 Author Posted May 26, 2009 If Pisa Tinoisamoa signed with the Pats, he'd be their best LB.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 How about that Robert Ayres pick! It ain't over 'til its over... Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...I screwed up on that one...I still let my "source" know about it, even a month after the draft Listen, I'd LOVE to see Pisa sign with us, dont get me wrong...but every sign I see seems to point in the opposite direction. Its hard to remain optimistic about him joining Buffalo, thats all I'm saying.
