I may actually open it and watch it now. Sorry to see it canceled. NBC is going to be spending next to nothing in production costs thanks to that Leno move. What are they going to have left, about 4 scripted non-reality shows? Network tv has become such a joke over the last 5+ years.
2020 Our Year For Sure
Man, was Kath & Kim garbage. I figured a show with the two of them would at least be watchable.
Buftex
I guess I am one of the few who liked "King Of the Hill". I must admit I haven't watched new episodes in years, but I still watch them a couple times a week in reruns, and think the new ones are pretty damn funny. It is not a mean spirited show, like most "adult animated" shows, but is just kind of quirky. I really think Mike Judge does great work...I realize he isn't really involved with the writing any more, only does voice work, for Hank Hill. btw, I think King got picked up by the Cartoon Network, for new episodes? Anyway, the only "big 4" network shows I watch regularly, are both coming back: "Friday Night Lights" and "The Office". I have only watched "The Office" on dvd... Not the best show in the world, but it made me laugh from time to time. That, and Selma Blair/Kim in HD was nice too....
The Poojer
I am with you on this one, i love king of the hill, and i believe you are right, cartoon network is picking it up. I think mike judge also has a new 'toon premiering soon,. Also sorry to see My Name is Earl go, I loved that show. one of the few shows that can live up to the pre-hype I guess I am one of the few who liked "King Of the Hill". Just Jack
[*]"Homeland Security USA" (1/6/09-3/10/09) aired for 8 episodes on ABC.[*]"King of the Hill" (1997-2009) aired for 14 seasons on Fox. [*]"My Name is Earl" ( 2005-2009) aired for 4 seasons on NBC. [*]"The Unit" (2006-2009) aired for 4 seasons on CBS. The only ones I watched out of that whole list. Earl and Unit are the only surprises for me.
Wacka
I read in the local paper that ABC might pick up My Name is Earl as they did Scrubs (which got renewed). I remember that one of the people on this board saw the pilot of Earl out in LaLa land and told us it would be good. That Chris Rock show has filmed a final episode where Chris tries out stand -up, which he did when he was in high school.

/dev/null
I never watched it because I figured it'd be cancelled right away. You still watched Firefly right? Even tho deep down inside you knew, as I did, that Fox would end up cancelling it
PTS
Terminator and The Unusuals were two great shows. I'm really pissed about Terminator because it was getting better and better. The storyline was top notch. Boston Legal was one of my favorites of all time. Alan Shore and Danny Crane, two of the best TV characters ever. JLO
Sarah Connor left off on a big cliffhanger, hopefully the producers will find another channel (maybe SciFi?) to wrap up the storyline, although Im sure they wont have the same budget to work with. DC Tom
I'm kind-of surprised some of those lasted as long as they did. Like "Hole in the Wall". They got a full season out of that gimmick? Quite a few of those cancelled 1- and 2-season shows I could see working on another network ("Samantha Who?") or on cable ("Dirty Sexy Money"). The networks nowadays just don't have a clue these days how to develope and promote a long-running series that isn't a reality show or immediate hit. BillsWatch
That list was composed of only the big 5 (CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, CW) channels. There were a lot more shows canceled than listed on the site - "Stargate Atlantis" is one on SF and I am sure there are on a number of others. It amazes me how many original plotted shows are on Cable.
