Chef Jim
Either come up with the revealing photo or delete this thread now. There is nothing I hate more than false advertising.

apuszczalowski
She is 16 though. I love how her and her parents are crying about it and that the school should ask for them all back and have them reprinted without that picture. I would hope the parents are willing to pay for the reprinting costs, her daughter was the one who decided that not wearing underwear was a good idea that day just so she wouldn't have panty lines. VOR
Wow! A 16-year old not wearing underwear because of panty lines. Pathetic.
justnzane
Wow! A 16-year old not wearing underwear because of panty lines. Pathetic. what is sadder is that the mom defends this, but chastises the school, and the school board for something could easily be overlooked by a yearbook staff of 5-10 kids and a supervising teacher. Now, it could also be that it is just a shadow, which is what the school's admin and board are saying. Anyway, the mom should look first at the daughter and second at the school, not the other way around.
The Poojer
is that where we have gotten to in society...there was a discussion between mom and daughter about wearing underwear to school????????????? and the mom didn't want to 'make' her wear underwear???? r u kidding me????? this was no accident.... Ok, I don't get this. Panty lines are, as far as I know, visible only through pants. If that's true then how is her beaver hanging out?
LewPort71
A. It was stupid to worry about 'panty line' and B. Where the heck was the editor of the Yearbook ? Many years ago, I was on the yearbook staff and we thoroughly checked all the pics before assemblying the page. Mostly looking for guys flashing 'half of the peace sign'.. If there was a problem with the pic, it did not get used... Surely, someone must have seen the problem with the girls pic.

If she is, keep her damn legs closed and no one has a problem.
Kingfish
To add insult to injury this was the schools first year printing a scratch and sniff yearbook.
The Poojer
i really like how they protect her identity by blurring her face, while she sits next to her mother on the couch who is flapping her gums......
tennesseeboy
Seems to be a gaping hole in the process. Maybe they can snatch back most of the yearbooks. No point getting all crochety about it.

Albany,n.y.
The easiest solution would have been for the school to order something to paste over the photo with glue strong enough that the page would come off if someone tried to remove the sticker. They could have done this without having to reprint anything.
