Just Jack Posted May 21, 2009 Share Posted May 21, 2009 I remember reading an article several years ago, about a guy that saw the bank made a mistake and deposited a large sum of money in his account. He brought it to their attention, and they insisted he was wrong, there was no mistake, it was his money. So he took it out and waited. Sure enough, soon after they contacted him wanting their money back, including threatening him with calling the police because he "stole" it. He told them all he wanted was an apology from the branch manager and he'd give it back. They did not want to do that. I think eventually it all worked out in the mans favor.
