dfluker Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Well, 6-10 now. Bills waived Mike Jefferson, WR. Now what are they going to do? Just out of curiosity, who in the heck is Mike Jefferson?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Bills are clearly making room for another DB.
Wagon Circler Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Made irrelevant by the sudden emergence of Justin Jenkins in the OTA's.
Steely Dan Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Dammit, I just ordered his jersey! Hmmm, does this mean they have to make room for a FA signing?
/dev/null Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Just out of curiosity, who in the heck is Mike Jefferson? Is he any relation to George and Weezie?
kota Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Why do you people get delight in the fact that someone just got cut and lost their job? Do you do the same when someone in your office or home loses their job?
The Senator Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 We are doomed, I say... DOOOOOOMED!!!!!!! (Maybe we're making room for Pisa Tinoisamoa?)
Steely Dan Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Why do you people get delight in the fact that someone just got cut and lost their job? Do you do the same when someone in your office or home loses their job? Yeah, don't you?
todzilla Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Why do you people get delight in the fact that someone just got cut and lost their job? Do you do the same when someone in your office or home loses their job? Misery loves company baby! And we are all miserable Bills fans.
ChasBB Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Why do you people get delight in the fact that someone just got cut and lost their job? Do you do the same when someone in your office or home loses their job? Depends who it is. I hear you, though. I have nothing against any player trying to make the Bills' squad.
dfluker Posted May 20, 2009 Author Posted May 20, 2009 Why do you people get delight in the fact that someone just got cut and lost their job? Do you do the same when someone in your office or home loses their job? My point was not about the player (sorry for him), but that the Bills felt it was so important that they vtexted it out, like it was big news. This did not need to go on vtext.
The_Philster Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 (Maybe we're making room for Pisa Tinoisamoa?) That was my immediate thought as soon as I got the V-Text
The_Philster Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 My point was not about the player (sorry for him), but that the Bills felt it was so important that they vtexted it out, like it was big news. This did not need to go on vtext. Actually, I think it was a good move...maybe he's nobody to the average fan, but he was a player on our team and the Bills treated him as such. If they hadn't set out the V-Text, they might be saying "you not only weren't able to make the team, but you aren't worth a V-Text or telling our fans that you've been cut" Kind of an insulting message if you ask me..especially after just being cut. At least they showed him a level of respect by treating him like any other bigger name player
GOBILLS78 Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Is he any relation to George and Weezie? Thomas. Dumb.
Chandler#81 Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Is he any relation to George and Weezie? Yes. Lionel's 2nd cousin on his wife's side.
Mr. WEO Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Why do you people get delight in the fact that someone just got cut and lost their job? Do you do the same when someone in your office or home loses their job? Maybe because none of us plays a game for a living. This guy isn't paralyzed---he can go out and get a job like the rest of us.
Sisyphean Bills Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Bills are clearly making room for another DB. Someone said they were converting him to DB.
12Kachy Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I heard thy were making room to sign John Ryunyan and convert him to a DB.
