The Senator Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 fwiw, there are no reports of him visiting any other teams - maybe he & the bills will still come to terms.
wonderbread Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I saw him at Ted's today with Bus Cook and Irv Weinstein enjoying some Charbroiled Beauties with a side of onion rings. Rumor has it he got a double order of the Onion rings.
Sisyphean Bills Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 fwiw, there are no reports of him visiting any other teams - maybe he & the bills will still come to terms. Shocking, considering how many teams are switching to the Tampa-2 this year.
damj Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I saw him at Buffalo City Hall negotiating with Byron Brown. Apparently, he has reached terms with the Bills and is negotiating for his welcome parade. So far Brown is offering cab fair from the airport and a key to a vacant janitorial closet ... stay tuned for maore updates on the negotiations.
bizell Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 i guess trent hasn't text messaged russ brandon yet to sign him.
Sen. John Blutarsky Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Shocking, considering how many teams are switching to the Tampa-2 this year. There is something to be said for running a different defense than everyone else. it does make finding players to fit the system easier. Now, I think the Tampa-2 is about the most limp-wristed defense I've ever seen and I can't stand it but at least we don't have to overpay for Cato June anymore.
muddleman Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 According to Jeff Duncan of the Saint's Insider Pisa's asking price is too high. http://blog.nola.com/jeffduncan/2009/05/mo...ho_the_new.html
/dev/null Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I saw him at Ted's today with Bus Cook and Irv Weinstein enjoying some Charbroiled Beauties with a side of onion rings. Rumor has it he got a double order of the Onion rings. I saw him at the Canadian ballet sitting with George Seifert at Ruben Brown's private table
I'm Spartacus Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Now, I think the Tampa-2 is about the most limp-wristed defense I've ever seen and I can't stand it but at least we don't have to overpay for Cato June anymore. Did you have to start with the Gay innuendo’s again??!!! Damn!!
Coach55 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 According to Jeff Duncan of the Saint's Insider Pisa's asking price is too high. http://blog.nola.com/jeffduncan/2009/05/mo...ho_the_new.html This blog states that Pisa is asking for "starter" money and that New Orleans currently is deep at the position. His asking price is too high for New Orleans, not necessarily the Bills (as he would be a starter)
Wagon Circler Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 According to Jeff Duncan of the Saint's Insider Pisa's asking price is too high. http://blog.nola.com/jeffduncan/2009/05/mo...ho_the_new.html All the article says is that he is looking for starter money. Well duh... If he's too expensive for the Saints, he's just right for us. Where is would you rather be than right here right now. Um... I digress.
