FluffHead Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 check out this video at the 2:00 mark. http://www.buffalobills.com/media-lounge/v...12-78dc894e4281 You can spot Chuck Lester, our "assistant to the head coach/special projects" ( http://prod.static.bills.clubs.nfl.com/ass...er_Chuck(2).jpg ) Apparently stepping in as a DT is going to be one of his special projects this year.

And that's what concerns me. Everyone knows Chuck is a classic two-gap DT. Not a one-gapper that our D scheme prefers.
ChasBB Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Lester certainly has had some staying power. He's survived several coaching changes now. What is it with Lester? How is he able to stay like that? What exactly is his role these days? I can't believe he's been with the club since 1987 -- that's amazing. I get the sense that he must be extremely organized -- must be a go-to guy for information -- a guy who knows HOW to find information -- a researcher.
BillsWatch Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 According to what I have heard is Lester is extraordinary on film breakdowns for games. Butler and Williams both mentioned they had great film breakouts when they were in Buffalo.
