Peter Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 There was another notable Bill that you missed on that list. Dennis Shaw.

todd Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 A testament to Flutie's mobility and Johnson's suckitude. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/lead...perc_career.htm Notable Bills who qualify Rob Johnson 178 out of 178 - 14.8% sack percentage JP Losman 163/178 - 9.87% Reich 80/178 - 6.8% Bledsoe 70/178 - 6.5% Ferguson 67/178 - 6.46% Kelly 63/178 - 6.33% Flutie 16/178 - 4.74%
Coach55 Posted May 19, 2009 Author Posted May 19, 2009 One interesting note, "Mobile" quarterbacks seem to have a higher sack percentage than pocket passers (not all, but a lot)... mmm.. Cunningham - 166/178 - 10.14% Vick - 161/178 - 9.87% Culpepper - 133/178 - 8.54% Harbaugh - 131/178 - 8.44% Steve Young - 116/178 - 7.94%
Bill from NYC Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 A testament to Flutie's mobility and Johnson's suckitude. Flutie was a freak, in that he thrived on broken plays. The Bills OL was pathetic. No other quarterback that I can recall would have been successful behind that mess. Flutie threw best while rolling out; he was too small to stay in the pocket. He was a much better qb than RJ, but not due to natural ability. RJ too could run, and was 10x the passer that Flutie was. The unlucky thing for us is that so few people have the skillset of JP and RJ, yet neither produced. I sure hope we get lucky with Trent.
