The Senator
How serendipitous is this thread? Just so happens today is the 11th anniversary of Frank's passing. Once described by someone as "the man who's done everything....twice", FS was a true legend whose singing and acting career spanned from the 1930's to the 1990's, and who had top-selling hits in 7 straight decades. Looking forward to Scorcese's film.

Kelly the Dog
I wonder if they will include the sweet, adorable Ava Gardner quip... When asked how she could possibly be with a 119 pound has-been like Sinatra, Ava said, demurely, "19 of it is rooster."
Steely Dan
http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/oh-f...ly-cooperation/ With family cooperation. I'm guessing the mob connections, general a-hole antics in Vegas and the physical beatings of Mia Farrow wont be in the film.

Steely Dan
Oliver Stone should do it. Once I saw "Any Given Sunday" I realized how full of his movies are. He finally made a film about a subject I knew a lot about. He took every bad aspect of some teams in the NFL and put them all together on one team. He exaggerates the bad aspects of everything. I haven't seen a lot of his movies, I think JFK was it, and it opened my eyes to his fast and loose workings with the facts. I don't think I'll see any more Stone films. Lee Otis M C
"Because any music in the film will come from Sinatra’s recordings, it will not be necessary to cast an actor who is a proficient singer." per Variety. Go J. Depp or go home, even though its not Keith Richards.
