bananathumb
Despite a tougher schedule, John Clayton thinks the Bills will be one of seven "surprise" teams in the nFL this season. His rationale has to do with TO, who he says usually takes teams to 24 points a game average. Last year, they averaged 21 and the difference, he says, should take Buffalo to 9-7. The guy has been pretty accurate in his predictions over the last five years, using his formula. Problem is, 9-7 might not be playoff material. My feeling is - while I would enjoy watching those nine wins, it probably wouldn't get them in the playoffs and it would keep Jauron around another year. It's a Catch 22: you want them to get either 10 or more wins or suck badly, so Dick is fired. 9-7 or 8-8 might be the worst possible scenario. Thoner7
I see 5-11, as most teams are not coached by limp Dickie
Bullpen
I'll add John Clayton to the master list as a definite "good" for now then?
2020 Our Year For Sure
Nine wins is exactly what I've been expecting, but now I might have to change my prediction.
silvermike
I dunno. I expect the Bills to "possibly" win anywhere between 5 and 10 games next season. Unless Clayton wants to be more specific than that, I'm not to interested.
OrangeJuiceSimpson
9-7 is a possibility? So is 16-0, or 0-16. I hate these stupid predictions.
drewwerd2
He also says the Bengals are going to be good. I guess they're more likely to make the playoffs than their meeting with their parole officer.
PNW_Bills_Fan
I see 5-11, as most teams are not coached by limp Dickie Interesting seems Dick has gotten us to three 7-9 seasons and no 5-11 seasons
