banjo moe Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 We do tend to overpay or underpay. Lets hope we get this one right. Good move locking him up, and I hope he's happy. He's a valuable cog, especially early, depending on how long Lynch is out. A Bill's insider told me it's for 5 years - $78 mil plus incentives

Trader Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Great news not just good for Jackson and the Bills RB situation. It sends a great message to any UDFA or low round pick that the Bills are a great team to play for. Look at what we have done with these guys: Peters, Jackson, DiGreggorio, Corto. Steve Johnson " you have a real opportunity here".

Heels20X6 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Superb signing! Hopefully Marshawn keeps his freakin' nose clean and we have the most dangerous tandem in football for years to come. Jackson's signing hopefully means more touches and less wear and tear on impact runner Marshawn. AND HOPEFULLY, Turkey recognizes to use MARSHAWN in short yardage and red zone situations and Jackson in the catch-and-run, slash situations.
