Rams - Bills 1981

We sat in the upper deck for this game. A guy near us passed out and missed the end of the game. We got out to the parking lot and were hanging out for a while. We looked back into the stands and we could see the guy still up there, passed out head between his legs, just like we left him. He was the only guy up there, this was a good hour or so after the game ended.

Giants - Bills Monday Night 1974

I was in the end zone, high up in the lower level. We noticed every body moving away from something but we could not figure it out. We looked up and saw a guy going hand over hand on the cable that holds the net behind the goalposts. He went all the way across where several cops helped him back over the wall.

Those are a couple I will always remember.

Do Fish Fans count?

They were talking with me in their section and passing a bottle back and forth. They started asking me intelligent questions about the team while they were getting their ass kicked. They offered me some of their bottle (scotch mixed with another liquor). They watched all the way to bitter end but they still seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I was coming out of parking lot with them still chatting and they were having trouble with car.

This was in early 90s before cell phones were common.

I told them there was no way a AAA truck was coming in against traffic but I could use my company "brick" (cell phone was size of one) to call for help for them. The AAA asked if I could stick around in case they had trouble finding vehicle and I said yes. They started up they BBQ to keep warm and one guy kept taking food out of ice chest - lobster tails, shrimp and scallops, stuffed potatoes, etc. They offered me beer and asked if I wanted to play cards when waiting. We played for about hour and half of nickle/dime/quarter poker and I made a small fortune, enough to pay for ticket. AAA showed up and was able to get their battery working. I told them goodbye I needed to call for my ride and they offered me a ride to my moms.

Great day, Bills win, Fish Fans paid for game and food and I got a free ride back.

There was a guy in my section in 331 who never made it through an entire game last season without being escorted out by security.

Seattle: Drunkenly falling on top of elderly couple in front of him, Ejected

Oakland: Picked a fight with the Raider fan behind him, Ejected

San Diego: Got into a loud argument with his girlfriend, was asked to leave...Ejected

Jets: Threw his program and beer at a Jets fan, Ejected

Cleveland: Drunkenly fell on the SAME elderly couple in front of him in the FIRST quarter, Ejected

San Francisco: Fell down carrying a tray of beer to his seat and was so wasted he couldnt get up...probably not ejected, but security did take him out

New England: Didnt show up.

Here's hoping he's back for another season!

LOL I sit in section 331 row 21....what row are you in?

I'm in row 14. My girlfriend mentioned to me that we should think about relocating since that guy seems to be "distracting" at games.

Heck, he's one of the reasons the games are entertaining!

Thats a remarkable story, its nice to hear people keeping in mind that we're all human beings, and this is a social situation like any other. Some of the behavior when you mix football with a bit of booze can be downright barbaric.

These guys when they drank just wanted to sing. I can not maintain a tune nor could I figure out the song so I did not join them.

We had seasons in 136, great seats, but game after game, year after year the same "Van Miller wanna be" would constantly try to call the game, whether we had a runner in the backfield or not he would always start his call with "Play action pass" before starting his "version" of the play in front of us.

He would consistently get the player names wrong, the play description was wrong, he was just horrible. After each play he would scream his official opinion on the play selection. It was truly a horror show in all sense of the word. Even his wife and kids would look embarrassed whenever you looked up in disbelief at the messed up calls.

Finally we had had enough of listening and a few years ago (maybe 7 years ago) we moved up to 331, row 2, near the aisle.

Still some crazy fans up in 331. The front row has a group of 10 who seem to have a blast every game. They have their token drunkard who the "pour" into his seat and tease him all day long. Its all in good fun, and the guards keep an eye on him, but he was only asked once to cool it since he likes to "distribute" peanuts to everyone, sometimes the people below in sec 131 are not receptive to his offerrings.
