ax4782 Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Just because that was leaked, doesn't mean that we are going to run it all the time. In fact, even by saying it, what can NE do? Call timeouts to slow it down? They cannot mug receivers like they would against Manning years ago. They could fake injuries to slow it down, but it's not like they don't do stuff like that anyway. To assume the staff is stupid because of this is just itching for something to justify the urine currently drizzling in their cornflakes. Bellicheat has been doing that fake injury stuff for years. For a great example, if you can stand the pain, is to watch SB XXV. Notice all those fake injuries, mostly in the third and fourth quarter on the Giants' D?
iinii Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I won't say the coaching staff is stupid, but the fact that we haven't won against New England but once in 17 tries seems to really sum it up. The beat down we took at home on Sunday night two seasons ago and then that demoralizing 15 minute (we will score when we get ready) drive last season says to me they probably know more about what we are going to do and not do than we do. Until we start dictating the terms and imposing our will on the Pats it really doesn't matter what we or any one else says is going to happen. Mr. DiMaggio will let us know when it is a strike.
DrFishfinder Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 So nothing like the Tuna obliterating the Pats at home last season by running the wildcat formation over and over? Yeah, they adjusted to that real well And the 2nd time they played the Pats, they got whomped 48-28. BFD.
mousetrap08 Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 No, not really... yes I do think and I know you can't because you dont have a brain or a place to put one.
