The only place I've ever seen dementia suggested was on this board, and I've seen no proof from reputable sources to back it up. Let me say that was an excellent article from Jerry Sullivan. I am not a big Sully fan but he did a great job with that one. He seems to have a knack for writing obit tribute articles. 8 years ago when a friend of mine passed he wrote an amazing tribute that I still have on my fridge. Nice job Sully!!
