Frez Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 Has anyone noticed how much better the NY Giants offensive line is this year? I hope it has nothing to do with Jim McNally leaving.
Coach Tuesday Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 I think it has more to do with them being healthy - they were decimated by injuries last year.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 It's being healthy and adding some drafted talent.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 Tiki Barber is a very good RB. With that bad OL last year he had over 1200 yards rushing and he had over 1300 the year before. When you have lead footed QB's like Collins or Bledsoe, your OL has to be great, they cant be average or even good.
Talonz Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 I picked up Barber in the 4th round in a 16 team league and I am *VERY* happy about their running game this year
mary owen Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 maybe Coughlin's getting the best out of his players by not trying to win a popularity contest...Discipline works, even with millionaires
Dante Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 I love your avatar ByTor. I chuckled when I saw that.
theesir Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 The running game has been very good in NY the last couple of years, but Tiki's fumbling has really hurt them. While they are playing a lot better, probably the biggest thing that has turned their running game around is the fact that Tiki is holding on to the ball and not ending drives.
