High Mark Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Schobel has proved that he can play at 240 as evidenced by his years of production. Maybin had one good year in college, at 220. Since Maybin added weight simpley to increase his draft stock, and has never played a football game anywhere near the weight he is at now, I am afraid of what may happen. On the other side, that extra muscle could make him even more dominant. Time will tell.

Simon, why waste your time? There is such an utter lack of knowledge about Schobel's responsibilities in our D scheme, it's laughable. When Fewell changed his responsibilities in '07 due to the rash of sudden injuries, he had a fantastic year against the run. Just as those changes in responsibilities were designed to do. But no, he simply rushes straight upfield every play and lets the RB run inside of him. Of course there is NEVER any mention of the responsibilities of other players in our scheme when Schobel gets hammered for "taking such wide angles to the QB." GO BILLS!!!
