The Jokeman Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Definately not Palmer. Which brings us to Brees vs Hasselbeck. I would hedge toward Brees since he is coming off an awesome week and the Saints defense is been one of the league's worst (29th statistically) and 31st against the pass. Quote
Buftex Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 drew brees vs NO Saintsmatt hasselbeck vs SF 49ers carson Palmer vs Dal Cowboys 102294[/snapback] I think, if you play Brees, you will get solid numbers, almost guaranteed. He will likely put up 200 yards or so, and have a td or two. Hasselback, IMO, is more of a gamble, but could pay off more. The Seahawks have their backs against the wall, going up against a mediocre defense. Hasselbeck could have a huge game. I would say, if you have a strong team at other positions, take the roll of the dice and play Hasselbeck. Even if he doesn't have a huge game, he will likely have similar numbers to Brees. He may throw 1 or 2 ints, but he should get at least the same 200-240 yards, if not more...Palmer is not an option! Good luck! Quote
