Ramius
Wood is a 71? Jesus, that worse than Jon Dorenbas. Madden (finally) stretched out the ratings this year. Gone are the days when every player is rated between 78 and 99. This year, we are supposed to see player ratings that actually mean something, so 90's are reserved for the best players, 80's for good players, 70's for average players, and 60's and 50's for below average or backup caliber players. Mr. ChumChums
So who's going to be the lowest rated player this year? Please don't say D Bell... especially if he's going to start lol.
DrDawkinstein
i know questioning any of this is futile, but looking at Wood's numbers, should he be an 81?! how does 84, 82, 81 and 76 turn out a 71 overall? maybin's numbers actually average out, kinda, 87, 73, 72, 84 for a 78 overall

ACor58
So EA can't do math OR research - doesn't bode well for Madden 10... The Madden frnachise is terrible. It would have been beaten by the Sega 2k Sports brand, which had better graphics, animation, and playability. EA bought the exlusive rights from the NFL / NFLPA and eliminated a smaller but better competitor.

I guess it is difficult to revamp a winning formula every year, but something new would be nice. Doesn't matter though, tecmo super bowl is still the greatest!
