BB Fan 4 LIFE
It will be really interesting to see what kind of contracts we sign with Wood/Levitre. We took 'em pretty high, which means we're going to have to pay them. The real question will be whether we actually even saved any money by releasing Dockery and trading Peters. Something tells me we saved a couple million dollars. So, was starting from scratch worth it?

SKOOBY
So, was starting from scratch worth it? Peters was a A-hole, he took a look at his poor play and justified it with his contract diputes, taking a position over his team / pride. F-him and anyone that liked him. ax4782
Considering that Peters obviously wanted out of Buffalo and was going to cost us 11 mil to sign, and Dockery was averaging 7 mil per season, yeah we're going to save money. Watching the games last year, you would have noticed that our LT gave up the HIGHEST sack total in the league last year. Not worth 11mil. Sorry. Dockery may as well have been named OPEN DOOR for as well as he played and he was horrible in the run game, something that was supposed to be his strong suit. He never panned out for us. These two new interior linemen play much more physically, and will be instant UPGRADES over the players they are replacing. And, by the way, looking at the average contracts of the #28 player and the #51 player, we're going to save about nine mil over what we would now be paying Peters and Dockery had we kept them both. That allows us to, oh my God, actually sign a couple more quality free agents, say like LT Levi Jones, or OLB LeRoy Hill.
Fingon
Wood will get what... $2.5 million a year? Levitre will get probably around $1.5 million.

That's enough to sign a high priced FA, somebody.
