ans4e64
What is with everyone and these garbage tackles? What is the point to adding people to the roster that don't upgrade anything? Pashos and Jones aren't better than the tackles we have here now, and they certainly aren't worth stunting the growth of our players either. If the tackle is not a legitimate starter, then FORGET ABOUT IT.

JPicc2114
He started 16 games for the jags his first year with them and hes only 28 brotha. Far from a scrub tackle.

If the tackle is not a legitimate starter, then FORGET ABOUT IT. I am one of the biggest J. Bell supporters on this buard BUT That was also mostly in defense of not making a mistake in the draft and reaching for OT's in the first round...thank god they didnt do that. Now we are past the draft......past L. Walker and K. Chambers we have virtually NO veteran experience on this team and that scares the crap out of me. If we get the chance to get a veteran starter from another team we gotta do that.....let them battle it out in camp and may the best win...then you have a quality back up at the position. Jones is a POS. Pashos? Get real... there's a reason why Jax signed FA LT Tra Thomas and drafted two tackles in the 1st round. If Pashos was worth a flip they wouldn't brought in real tackles. The only legit LT out there right now might be Tauscher... and he might be damaged goods or have nothing left in the tank.

Jones is a pro bowl caliber player when healthy. 2 words .... LEVI JONES! ;-) Jones has played extremely poor over the last few years due to his chronic injuries. They are not the kind that you get, they heal, and then they go away. His knee problems are not getting better, they are chronic and they have greatly effected his play. So much so that they drafted an OT with the #6 pick overall to start on one side, and some guy named Anthony Collins on the other, because they are both better than Jones. Anthony Collins. He is probably going to have to retire soon, IMO. There is no way he'd be an upgrade over the bunch we have, and it would be a waste of a few million dollars to sign him. Captain Caveman
If Jones was even halfway decent, Cinci would have kept him. He's not making all that much in salary right now. I think it was scheduled to be 3-4 mil, which is nothing if they thought he was good enough even compete for the starting rt job.
The Jokeman
Keep an eye out.. Buffalo may be interested. Jacksonville signed 2 tackles so he may be out the door over there. He's strictly a RT and we already have that position filled. No thanks.

So....is he heathy? How's his back? Wait. Who cares? If he has injury problems, we'll find out soon because those are the only free agents the Bills sign! I'll find out all there is to find out about Levi after Brandon signs him.

Pashos and Jones aren't better than the tackles we have here now, and they certainly aren't worth stunting the growth of our players either. If the tackle is not a legitimate starter, then FORGET ABOUT IT. The thing that is wrong with everyone is not that they judge Jones or Pashos to be great or even very good players, but that they have real doubts whether Langston Walker or the retinue of other tackle prospects (Butler, Levitre, Chambers, Bell) are going to be even adequate for the Bills over the course of the season. Even if join you and feel Jones and Pasho are garbage they may well be interested in them if they judge our alternatives as sub-garbage. Who do you like from the options we have?
