"Limited upside" -That's a positive? Other than that sounds similar, but not quite as good as Kyle.

When did I say being like Kyle Williams is a positive? In a system that asks its DTs to penetrate and make plays behind the line of scrimmage (as opposed to simply eating up space and allowing others to make plays), Williams starts, but is darn near invisible. That isn't a good thing. He only starts because its one of the weakest positions on the team.

The only intriguing UDFA at this point is the OT, imo. Thats to be expected, of course, these guys are the bottom of the barrel.

I don't know specifically about those two guys but I agree that it seems other positions are needed more than CB right now. I would have rather had those two guys also. Even better two OT's. JMO.

McCall was the unsung hero in Alabama's running game this past year. Blocking is his strength, without a doubt. He could catch when he was called upon, but it was normally on bootlegs where he's wide open. All in all, he'll probably be on the practice squad.

Any news on Southerland or a guy like Otis Wiley yet? I've got my fingers crossed on bringing in a young talent at FB.

I believe they are going to try this guy at FB. JMO

7 receptions for 52 yards and no TD's.

Travis McCall (TE)

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 276

College: Alabama

Conference: SEC

Hometown: Prattville, AL

High School: Prattville

Overview

Considering McCall typically lined up as Alabama's second tight end and a blocking specialist, some were caught off guard when he received an invitation to the Senior Bowl. With few traditional fullbacks and blocking specialists at tight end slated for the 2009 draft, however, the invitation made sense. A recipient of only 24 receptions despite playing in 51 career games, McCall's value lies in his ability to put defenders on their backs - a talent that could earn a late-round draft selection.

High School

Signed with the Tide in 2004, but fell thousandths of a point shy of qualifying. As a prep senior he played tight end and defense. He was a 6A All-State pick while helping Prattville to the quarterfinals of the state playoffs. He was also selected to the Birmingham News Super Senior list. He was rated the nation's ninth-best tight end by Rivals.com and the 19th-best overall in-state prospect by Superprep Magazine.

I'll be honest, I've never heard of this guy (and I am a draft nerd)

Hopefully the Bills are talking to Brannan Southerland and Gerald Cadogan. Getting both of those guys as UDFAs would completely negate that last confusing CB pick.
