LabattBlue Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I know we probably can't get all these guys, but... DanInSouthBuffalo Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Mitch King the DE is a good character guy and hard-worker. Sign em' up.
Astrobot Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 I'd like for us to invite Maryland's TE Dan Gronkowski into camp and see if we can do this Jason Peters' conversion thing all over again by making him an OL. That could work!!! The knock on Gronkowski (that all he does is block) would become an asset!
DanInSouthBuffalo Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 That could work!!! The knock on Gronkowski (that all he does is block) would become an asset! He might have more of an upside than the guys we already have.
LabattBlue Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 How about RB Ian Johnson from Boise St? He had very good sophomore and junior seasons before tailing off as a senior. I am not sure it is accurate, but on www.nfldraftscout.com they have his 40 time as 4.41.
Astrobot Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 S Courtney GreeneDE Maurice Evans OLB/FB Brian Toal DE/DT Mitch King OT Alex Boone RB Tyrell Sutton RB Ian Johnson QB Jason Boltus CB Bill Cosby Orangeman, I added your list to mine. Wow, I had no idea that nobody took Mitch King. I like Ian Johnson a lot; I watched almost every game he's been in at Boise State. My only beef is having Alex Boone in camp. I wouldn't want him to end his career at the Pittsford Pub.
LabattBlue Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Gronkowski just went to Detroit. Stupid Lions. I bet Gronkowski would have loved to sign with the Bills as a UDFA!
Tipster19 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Gronkowski just went to Detroit. Stupid Lions. I bet Gronkowski would have loved to sign with the Bills a a UDFA! That Detroit has been a pain in the @$$ all draft, from Pettigrew now to Gronkowski.
Trader Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Here goes my picks for UDFA Remaining on the national Football league draft board after 7 rounds OT Travis McCall OT/TE - Do a Jason Peters with him Rylan Reed OT/TE - same as above Agustus Parrish OT Kyle Link Valdez QB Hunter cantwell QB Drew Willie or Chase Holbrook LB Corey Smith Robert Francois Ivy Monty
Trader Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 The guys on Sirius are saying we had a great draft, especially depth-wise, but they're ripping us for not taking even a project at LT. Should have gotten Cadogan with that 7th Rd. pick. He's the guy we should target if he doesn't get drafted. Cadogan does not show up on the NFL board either being drafted or available. Does anyone know if he is still available?
DanInSouthBuffalo Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Cadogan does not show up on the NFL board either being drafted or available. Does anyone know if he is still available? At the end of the draft he was the #1 available tackle on the ESPN board.
marauderswr80 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Graham Harrell could be interesting........

That guy has a real nack for making plays. I think he may have led the nation in interceptions last year. He doesn't run a fast 40, but he has a real feel for the game.
