millbank Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Florida University has just announced that Steve Spurrier has take his name out of running for Coach of Football team Spurrier
BillsGuyInMalta Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 I'll bet you that Spurrier ends up at South Carolina after Holtz leaves. Just seems perfect for him...stay in the SEC, work with a team that is good, but needs that extra push, fantastic golf courses around you, and an athletic department that would give you full control. Sounds perfect.
ICE Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Oh stevestojan Oh stevestojan Oh stevestojan! Word has it that IF the 'old ball coach' said no...Florida would make Stoops an offer he couldn't refuse. MUCH Better than last time. Also here is the kicker...OU will be graduating something like 16 Sr's this year. Now would be a good trasition time for him. Leave OU in ok shape with Peterson and Rhett Bomar, but move on to Florida under the "I acheived all I could at OU" Speak. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
