BillsNYC Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 They need to grab a TE in the draft...its the only hole that they can't fill via FA or what they have on the roster.
Maddog69 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 we still need an OLB unless you want Ellison starting. Maybe we sign Keiaho now.
papazoid Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 don't be surprised if Maybin plays some LB. yes we need a TE in the fourth.
CanadianBacon Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Free Agency now for LB and I think Derrick Brooks could fill the hole for a season or 2.... He is better than Ellison by far...Draft someone next season, I would still be happy trading away our other 4th for Henderson or Scheffler
nodnarb Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I'm hoping the Bills can get TE James Casey - unbelievably versatile - great hands. But I don't think he'll be around in the 4th round. Maybe they'll package Roscoe, who knows...
Major Mud Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I'm hoping the Bills can get TE James Casey - unbelievably versatile - great hands. But I don't think he'll be around in the 4th round. Maybe they'll package Roscoe, who knows... Yeah he is pretty sick, our version of Chris Cooley, that would be a neat-o pick!
Astrobot Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I have three other choices at TE for RD4: James Casey---this guy is married, mature, smart (3.84 average in college), strong, and a playmaker. Travis Beckum--good mix of blocking and receiving. Cornelius Ingram---I like his attitude, confident guy. Or in RD4 I'd like one of these guys at OLB: Jason Williams----intimidating, <4.5 speed, has played all 3 positions at LB Zack Follett----play recognition is his strength, is a hitter Nic Harris---a favorite on TSW In Round 5, I want a DT next to Stroud: Corvey Irvin---Popular pick on TSW Vance Walker-Here's your high character off the field, mean on the field types. Winner of Humanitarian award. In Round 6, get a guy to compete for #3 QB. Hunter Cantwell Brian Johnson---- Utah pass, run, decis Finally, in RD7, get a FB: Tony Fiammetta Anthony Sherman-pretty good receiver as well Brannan Southerland
12Kachy Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 They might trade back in to the third. Maybe Jared Cook is still around.
Astrobot Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 we still need an OLB unless you want Ellison starting. Maybe we sign Keiaho now. HEY! Forgot about that. I'm sure that's been discussed today in the war room.
d_wag Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Travis Beckum--good mix of blocking and receiving. travis beckum is to blocking what robert royal is to receiving.....sorry, not a fit for the bills offense
Pete Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Cornelius Ingram. I would love to trade up and draft him! Jared Cook would be nice as well
SWVABillsFan Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 TE Chase Coffman... If he is there. If not I go Shawn Nelson TE or Jason Williams OLB.
12Kachy Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Well Denver selected a TE at the end of the 2nd. Trade for Scheffler.
Astrobot Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Cornelius Ingram. I would love to trade up and draft him! We may not have to trade up. But it'll be close.
High Mark Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 we still need an OLB unless you want Ellison starting. Maybe we sign Keiaho now. Sign Keiaho tonight, dont wati till after the draft. Grab Coffman even if it costs a pick or two to trade up. Solid draft after that.
LosAngelesDollarBills Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Well Denver selected a TE at the end of the 2nd. Trade for Scheffler. Who is this Richard Quinn? they passed on Coffman, Ingram and Cook who are all apparently ranked higher...
