Major Mud Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Awesome pick!! gave up 3rd and a 4th, but great pick versatile lineman, he can play either tackle as well, 3 out of 4 picks were on the line, do you think the Bills are learning?
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Utterly fantastic selection. They must have put Jauron back in the basement, lol sad but true...
BILLS #1 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Best guard in the draft, good pick, we gave up our 3rd and the first or our two 4th round picks, so now we got Levitre, wood, butler, walker. now we need a good LT maybe bell or chambers. like the pick ... GO BILLS
Coach Tuesday Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Since they appear to be putting Wood at LG, wonder if this means Levitre goes to LT?
Bill from NYC Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 A shockingly good pick! We are going to be solid and deep at Guard pretty soon. When was the last time you heard this?
billnutinphoenix Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 He has experience at both Tackle spots, too!!!
RayFinkle Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Utterly fantastic selection. They must have put Jauron back in the basement, They made the trade while Ralph was in the sh-tter.
MrLocke Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I'm confused. Unless he's going to play tackle shouldn't the interior line be fine with Wood, Hangartner and Butler. Is this a vote of non-confidence for Butler? Could Butler move to Tackle where he played in University I believe.
BeastMode54 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Since they appear to be putting Wood at LG, wonder if this means Levitre goes to LT? no way, he projects as a guard. also, we gave them a 3rd and 4th this year. when do we get our OLB and a TE. I just think they don't view TE as a need at all
Lori Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/andy-levitre?id=71363 Utterly fantastic selection. They must have put Jauron back in the basement, I know you were really stoked about this guy, Bill. Three out of four picks on the lines? McKinney might not make it out of training camp.
The Big Cat Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 did they say what they gave up to trade with Dallas with? yes, I think one of our fourth ronders and our sixth rounder...
Mike in Syracuse Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Makes me wonder what they saw in Unger that they didn't like?
bananathumb Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 My guess we gave up a #4 to [/quote 3rd and a fourth too much
DanInSouthBuffalo Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Don't forget we have Seth McKinney now too who can play guard and center. Surplus might not be a bad thing.
Alaska Darin Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I'm confused. Unless he's going to play tackle shouldn't the interior line be fine with Wood, Hangartner and Butler. Is this a vote of non-confidence for Butler? Could Butler move to Tackle where he played in University I believe. How much confidence would you have in Butler? Levitra (yeah, I know) has played Guard and BOTH tackle positions in college. He's going to be an important guy even if he doesn't crack the starting lineup.
aristocrat Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 yes, I think one of our fourth ronders and our sixth rounder... not bad at all
Kingfish Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 About time we had a draft where we addressed the O-line early and often!
Thoner7 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 LEVITRE is a great pick!!!! He should have been taken at 42. We do not have the luxery of trading away picks like that. We also have WAY TO MANY CBs now. There goes COffman in the 3rd.
