Steely Dan Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Good, now Buffalo can't take him! Andre "Bust" Smith!
bisonbrigade Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I am glad the Bungels took Smith, I did not want him.
Phlegm Alley Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 awesome! andre smth gone!! Best OT in the draft IMO
Brandon Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I'm glad Andre Smith is gone. I didn't want the Bills drafting that guy. Eugene Monroe appears to be slipping, possibly because of his knee, but I'd rather take a chance on him than Smith.
BuffOrange Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I can't believe the didn't have to give up their 1st next year........ Basically a 2nd and a couple of OK players. If it were that cheap to move up that many spots, I can't believe more teams didn't offer more. Yah I think that is a bad trade by Cleveland. OK players is being generous. Basically they gave up a 2nd round pick to move up a ways.
Max997 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 how great was the move to 10 mins between picks from 15, draft seems to move so much faster did not like the 4 PM start though
Virgil Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I also am happy that Smith isn't an option for us. That would have pissed me off.
darkman Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 The best QB on their roster for years has been Clemens. I feel bad for the guy they keep screwing him around, but on the other hand Im glad the Jets just delayed any real improvement for at least another year again I'm thinking two years easy. They didn't get what they really needed. Clemens was serviceable at least and they could have stayed and got support for him. High price in my opinion, we haven't heard the last of the details regarding this trade. The players and two picks was cheap to move that far up, but I think they got it wrong when they announced the deal.
Virgil Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 oh yeah, I wonder if Freeman is now a hot commodity that creates trade options for us at 11 or is traded up before us which allows us to have another good player available for us.
DrDawkinstein Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 are you guys ready to get your cheerios pissed in when Monroe and Oher go 9 and 10?
BLZFAN4LIFE Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I also am happy that Smith isn't an option for us. That would have pissed me off. Yeah, I think that guy has Mike Williams written all over him.
Bill Murray Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Monroe!!! He wont get past SF at 10...but that would be awesome if we walked away with him at 11...we could trade back up to get the Def player we want (Ayers / Maybin / Cushing / Brown / etc etc etc)..there are a lot of guys that can help us on D
