The Dean Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 32 Pittsburgh Maualuga Fits the Steelers to a T.
dave mcbride Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Last year = no WRs selected in the 1st. This year = 6 so far. Huh. THe ones last year weren't as good as the ones this year. It's that simple.
The Senator Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Great pick......just a great f ing pick!!!!!! Kid's like a human, only bigger. Steelers really liked him, along w/Brown & Bengals. I am liking this draft. Cheers, Bill Now, allow me to say just one word... Loadholt
In space no one can hear Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Pro Football Weekly's take on the Wood pick: 28 (28) Buffalo (from Carolina through Philadelphia) — C Eric Wood, Louisville With Kirk Chamers expected to kick outside to help replace Jason Peters, the Bills needed help inside. Wood is big, strong, smart and physical and should be a 10-year starter in the league. He will likely begin his career at guard for the Bills and should provide great versatility.
renfruzetz Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Overall, I like the pick. However, given our extra 4th rounder, I would have liked to have the option to move up for Oher, Matthews or Jerry as these positions are traditionally more valued than C/G.
michaelfromgermany Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I hate that the Pats are picking right before us. they will select DE E. Brown....a OT..... another LB (Laurinaitis / Maualuga) and a DE.....
dave mcbride Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Great pick......just a great f ing pick!!!!!! I thought of you, Bill. You must be a happy man.
ndirish1978 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 The Pats will take 2 players who I would have wanted on our team for sure. If they take laurinitis and brown I will hate life
DrDawkinstein Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 they will select DE E. Brown....a OT..... another LB (Laurinaitis / Maualuga) and a DE..... i hope they pick in that order, cause we pick after their 2nd 2nd and could grab one of those LBs
JoeCribbsCarWash Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Anyone have any good info on the remaining DT's out there? Ricky-Jean Francois

The Bills haven't valued center in ages. Thank god that has come to an end.
Rockinon Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 the Steelers just got a really good player Evander Hood
DrDawkinstein Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 The Pats will take 2 players who I would have wanted on our team for sure. If they take laurinitis and brown I will hate life agreed and this is what, most likely, will happen. god i hate the pats
