Cson76 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Heard an interview this morning with Phil Simms. Says Drew Willy has the best decision making capability out of this years class due to the offense Gil runs at UB. Says he's a lock to at least make a club. Interesting Long time reader first time poster
ChevyVanMiller Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Here's to finally busting your cherry Everything I've read has Drew going in the late rounds. It's great that UB kids are finally getting drafted on a regular basis. I think Willey has a real shot at sticking on a roster. Go Bulls!
VOR Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 After missing-out on Trevor Scott (DE) and Jamey Richard (center) last year, the Bills have to take Willy. He fills a need for sure.
ThePebble19 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I think if(when) he is on the board in the 6th/7th rounds, they would be stupid not to take him. He is a smart, sound player, who would provide a nice backup to Edwards. Very low risk move.
Big Turk Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I've always thought Willy would make a good NFL QB...the guy makes good decisions, has good size, intangibles, completes a high percentage of his passes, doesn't get rattled, and plays well against good competition usually. Would be nice to see the Bills draft him, I really think this kid has a shot to be pretty good in this league...
JM57 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 He's a Jets fan. His new favorite team will be the one that dials his number on Sunday afternoon
