Buftex Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 worked wonders for vince young... Funny, as much as VY has bombed in the pros, he was an amazing college player. I give him credit for turning Mack Brown (a softie), and cosequently, the Longhorns program into something much more substantial than what it had been, before they won that championship. But, like I said, the positve results have tranlated in the NFL, much more so, on the defensive side of the ball. The NFL is littered with very productive defenisive players from Texas.
Tonawanda Troy Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 What a BUST he turned out to be. I hope we don't bust a first rounder this year.
Steely Dan Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I believe he was referring to the 20 lb ham that got jammed between two fat rolls. He could not find it for hours.... How many people would be willing to bet he doesn't make the 53 man roster and is probably among the first cuts of camp.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Dockery at Guard and Williams at Tackle? Nickname: The Swinging Gate Congrats to the Cowboys, Eagles and Giants! The double barn doors.
OnTheRocks Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 When did he leave the Jaguars? Or was it the Buccaneers?
Carmel Corn Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I thought Willams and Dockery played effectively next to each other when they were Longhorns. Who knows....seems like a good gamble by the Skins to me.
