Virgil Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I recognize there are a lot of "what if's" in this situation: There are a few mocks where Orakpo and Maybin are available at 11. There are those who believe that Bell and Walker may be our Starting Tackles and there is value beyond round 4 in Tackle. How would you feel if the Bills walked out with this: 11 - Okapo Traded 28 and 2nd to get Maybin TE and T with 3rd and 4th Other 4th traded for Henderson Yes, we may be taking a chance with the O-Line. But, unless you think we are going to contend this year, think about that front 8 for years to come. If next year, or with FA's left, we focus on just the O-Line... Just thoughts.....
PromoTheRobot Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I keep hearing how Orapko takes downs off and being a Texas product scares me a little too. I'd prefer Everette Brown. I'd really prefer trading down if possible. I'll bet Brown will be available in the teens. PTR
Tsaikotic Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 with so many OT's projected to go on day 1, I don't think there will be value at OT on day 2...at least none that I would want to start on opening day...in round 2 there are 2 OT's I wouldn't mind Buffalo taking..Loadholt and Meradith..either one in round 2 would allow Buffalo to go DE and OLB or whatever they value most in round 1.
Wing Man Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I love the idea, myself. Pick up a couple of bookend DE's and rack up the sacks for the future. Maybe trade some old, expensive meat away for future draft picks.
