Glass To The Arson Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 http://www.thefootballexpert.com/mockdraft.html Dang!
Beerball Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 good site Wish they would update the position rankings (3/26 version is available), but with mocks changing so frequently it would be impossible to keep up.
Glass To The Arson Posted April 24, 2009 Author Posted April 24, 2009 I want Oher I want Pettigrew I want English Good stuff =)
jax bill backer Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 no dont need pettigrew....the number one target should be everette brown or an offensive tackle in the first round...I will be so pissed if we take pettigrew
Leonidas Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Isn't Pettigrew almost a legit OT when it comes to blocking? Apparently he owned Orapko, among others. If that's true - and I'm not saying for sure that it is - but wouldn't he add double value? He would help sure up our line and be a threat in the passing game. Unless he is really too slow to contribute (which I don't think he is). He seems like a Heath Miller clone to me. If we're going to trade him though, it seems that we should either trade down from #11 or trade up for #28, irrespective of what Peter King thinks. Especially in light of the Gonzalez trade likely taking out Atlanta and the LJ Smith signing taking out Baltimore as potential suitors. IMO, the fall to #28 isn't all that crazy now. And if it doesn't happen, it's the deepest draft class in years.
bourbonboy Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I would be upset if we took Oher when Orakpo was still available (he is exactly what we need for the 4-3)....but Pettigrew at #28 would be nice indeed!
bizell Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 no dont need pettigrew....the number one target should be everette brown or an offensive tackle in the first round...I will be so pissed if we take pettigrew we do need pass rush, but i think pettigrew @ 28 is awesome value. plus, if you look, our #11 pick IS an offensive tackle. We get English later on, and he'd hopefully solve the pass rushing woes.
Lt. Dan's Revenge Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I like the draft a lot as a whole. I am still just not sold on Oher at #11 though.
SuperKillerRobots Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I'd almost rather they take Matthews instead fo Pettigrew at 28.

Thoner7 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I want us to BEEF UP OUR LINES. If Pettigrew can BEEF UP OUR LINES better than any other player availible, TAKE HIM. (I doubt he wil be able to do this better than another player availible however)
BILLS #1 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 wow i really like this draft.. probably the best i have seen this whole time
