Beerball Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 From NFL.com... Steve Mariucci: "We needed an offensive tackle. What we need to help out our young quarterback is my highest-rated player on the board, Brandon Pettigrew. Not so much the greatest receiving tight end, but he'll block you. We're going to try and run the football a little bit better. We have our receiver, now we have our tight end. Let's play ball."
Lori Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 where does it say we means buffalo? Scroll down to pick No. 28: NFL.com Add: Which means Jon Gruden, who made pick No. 11 for Buffalo, probably isn't coming here either ...
billsfreak Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 That would be awesome if he brought some of the winning that he did in Detroit to Buffalo. We would be all set then.
BarkLessWagMore Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 My sources deep within tell me the actual plan is for Gruden at HC with Mooch as the OC. The last stumbling block is the contract. Ralph is offering $50k (that's $50,000) plus all the Mighty and Labatt's they can stomach. They are holding out for a lease on a BMW 750. They have agreed to carpool to reduce their collective carbon footprint. The problem is trying to find one as we know nobody in WNY can afford such a finely tuned machine. Look for a presser by draft time. Mark my words.
