VJ91 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 The other JP. Skooby, the best your inside info rants have done is be correct a week late. This call falls under a different category.....the who the f... cares where Lost-man ends up....category!!
BLZFAN4LIFE Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Link?? Not that we question your 'deep within' sources... Yes, I would like a link to understand WTF you're talking about.
VABills Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Even if he does. he'll never see the field. Carolina just commited 5 yr/50 million to Delhomme. At best, in an injury or 4+ years he might get a chance again. If JP did this, it shows he doesn't have the heart nor desire to start in the NFL and is just looking for money. there were other places that needed a legit backup with opportunity to see the field possibly. NYJ, Wash, etc... but he chose to go to a place that wrapped up a good vet to a long term deal yesterday.
Lori Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Losman pursuit highly unlikely There's an internet report that the Panthers are interested in Buffalo Bills quarterback J.P. Losman. We're checking it out, but there appears to be nothing to it. Carolina is committed to Jake Delhomme as their starting quarterback. General manager Marty Hurney told the Observer this week that Delhomme is "perfect" for the Panthers and that the team has "the utmost confidence" in him. Hurney also said at the time that the Panthers are very happy with their backup situation. Veteran Josh McCown is the No. 2 QB, with Matt Moore No. 3. Why is Carolina being associated with Losman? Denver's interest in him appears legitimate. Perhaps someone wants to give the Broncos incentive to move more quickly. What better way to do that than to create the appearance of competition? -- Charles Chandler
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Losman pursuit highly unlikely I legit laughed out loud. Well done Skooby.
Steely Dan Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 They have 9 now and I'll say they end up with 12 total.
pBills Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I am going with 12 BEFORE they trade away a few for either another FA or to move up.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Wow. He seriously edited the thread title and first post so he wouldn't look like a baffoon. It didn't work, mind you.
Lori Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Wow. He seriously edited the thread title and first post so he wouldn't look like a baffoon. It didn't work, mind you. Yup. Once his Losman-to-Carolina "scoop" was debunked, he went into full damage-control mode. Which just means I'll be sure to quote all his future titles/posts for posterity ...
billsfreak Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I would say "not enough" to fill all of the holes that we have.
