Just a fun fact that I'm pointing out for only that reason. Here's a list of overrated and underrated players in this years draft by Andy Staples.
Dylanme8 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I am more interested in getting all the info in one spot But here is My Final Mock based on availability 1a) Two scenarios Trade out to 15-19 range receive an extra 3rd. Bills Select Cushing OLB USC or Draft Aaron Maybin with the 11th overall selection. 1b)Britton OT Arizona, if not available, Larry English DE NIU 2) Larry English DE NIU, if not Available, OC Wood UL Its a crap shot from here on out. I'd love to see them do that.
OrangeJuiceSimpson Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I swear I'm not trying to pick on you, OJ, but seriously? How could "many" believe that Bell could be the LT of the future? He's never played a down in the NFL. I know, Peters was undrafted and he turned out great, but that doesn't mean that Bell has starter or even backup potential. If anything, I think the more you hear in the next 48 hours about how much Buffalo likes Bell, the more likely it will be that they draft an OT in round 1. It would be much smarter to get a top flight prospect than to simply expect a guy that nobody else wanted to become a franchise left tackle. Also, Cushing goes somewhere between pick 11 and pick 21...he's too good to last into the final third of the opening round. In fact, I haven't heard or seen one opinion that states Cushing as overrated. No offense taken. But there is no guarantee that an elite tackle is there at 11. Or a first round worthy tackle at 28. Don't you think it would be hard for them to trade away their "pro bowl" left tackle without having any replacement already on the roster? And as far as the cushing overrated talk goes Matt Mcguire's Article All I could find right now, but I have read things like this in several places.

The only people who know if Bell is ready to start or not are the coaches. He could be a solid player who was behind a pro-bowler or he could need more time or he may never become a starter. Nobody on this board most likely has enough information.

Nor will any of our mocks be near correct. We all put in our opinions and hope for the best.

JM57 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I like the newest one from Scott Wright/ DraftCountdown.com 1a. Brian Orakpo 1b. Brandon Pettigrew 2. Phil Loadholt 3. Marcus Freeman. DE, TE, OT, LB. That, ladies and gents, is how you draft. I would be MORE than happy with this. I like Freeman and I like USF's Tyrone McKenzie as OLB prospects for us.

JM57 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Pettigrew will not be available at 28. JMO I'm hoping/waiting/wishing he would be. And I think Scott Wright does a pretty good job with that site. But it's still just a crap shoot making a mock draft. Look at it without any "what if's" though. Just assume that's the way it falls. Would you not be happy with that?
