Sherman Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 The said on Sirius with Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan this afternoon that the Chiefs are listening to offers for Glen Dorsey. Any takers? Would you prefer him over John Henderson or anyone available in the draft?
VOR Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 It would probably cost a 1st rounder. He's not even worth a 2nd rounder at this point.
Maddog69 Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 I would prefer Henderson. The trade cost would be less, plus he has a great relationship with Stroud. Those two hogs could dominate the line for the Bills for several years. That said, I would love to see Dorsey in a Bills uniform.
R. Rich Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 I would love either of Henderson or Dorsey! What 'bout both?

R. Rich Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Hell yeah! Now you are talking! Maybe add Julius Peppers to rush the passer too?
atlbillsfan1975 Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 No way the Chiefs give up Dorsey for less then a one. Henderson could be had for maybe a 4th and throw in Denney to walk the paper work to them.
R. Rich Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Did they give any idea of what it would cost? They did some discussion on this w/ the callers the other day. It was purely speculation on their part, though.
Thoner7 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 If Dorsey were in this draft he would be a top 5 lock... just like last year. If the Chiefs bite on 28 or 42 why not we need help on the lines. At 11 I think we need to adress DE or OT

At 11 I think we need to adress DE or OT True, based on college and potential, Dorsey would again be a top-5 pick. Based on his first season in the NFL, he's not even worth a 2nd. That isn't to say that he won't develop, just that there was nothing in his performance to suggest he'd would develop.
Randolph Duke Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 What 'bout both? You think the '85 Bears will still be on the board at the #11 spot?
Fewell733 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 no way are they seriously expecting a 1 for Dorsey. He hasn't shown anything yet and doesn't fit their defense now.

I'd rather they threw in Kelsay to walk the paper work to them. Denney at least seems to not get completely misdirected on most of the plays he's involved in.
drnykterstein Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 What 'bout both? We could make a whole team of DT's.
papazoid Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 well, we need 3 quality DT's so we can switch to the much more effective 3-4 defense. Dorsey signed a 5yr / $51 million deal....way too much......forget Dorsey.

VOR Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Agreed. He did not look good last year. You also don't just look to trade a former top-5 DT after a year, because you're moving to a new system.
