JStranger76 Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 by switching to Geico. Vincent and Teague both practiced today. We are getting healthier people. Despite al the Teague bashing this offseason, he has played really good this year. I'm not even sure center is a position of need anymore as a matter of fact. If Williams stays at tackle, I think only the left side needs to be upgraded.
njsue Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 When has teague ever played good? Are smart decision is to hand this guy a clip board. Glad Troy Vincent is practicing.
JStranger76 Posted November 3, 2004 Author Posted November 3, 2004 Hey Sue, I admit I bashed Teague quite a bit in the past but he has played very well this year. You can even ask some of the offensive line gurus on this very board. He and Mike Williams both are tied as most improved OLinemen in my opinion.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Getting back Vincent will be huge. And Teague's return certainly opens up possibilities on the O-line, like having him start at center and moving Tucker to LG, or vice versa.
njsue Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 I like Ross Tucker so far. Would ease my mind to put teague in a barrell heading over the falls.
John from Riverside Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 I am actually hoping that the coaching staff is smart enough to figure out Tre Teague would make a better Left Guard then the guy we have in there.....who is competant but hurting our running game......
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 I honestly haven't paid much attention to the center position but is tucker that much of a downgrade? Has he played poorly compared to teague. Will Teagues comeback improve the oline? I don't see Tucker as a downgrade to teague at center, but further analysis might be helpful. Any oline gurus out there? Either way it's good to have Troy Vincent Back practicing. B)
