The NFL should instate a new rule:

If in one season you go 0-16, the following season you are not allowed to wear any jersey whatsoever until you win a game.

This will allow the appearance of the game to be like a shirts vs. skins pick-up game, where the players of the shirtless team are all irrelevant, and unworthy of wearing their name on their backs. I think this would make for hilarity, and hopefully allow the Detroit front office to realize just how pathetic they are (that their only means of re-engaging the fanbase for the upcoming season is to create a new jersey).

I think if you go 0-16 you should lose many privileges in addition to jerseys. Anyone care to compile a list or thoughtful proposal?

They should've changed 'em to silver, gray, powder and navy blue with red piping and purple stripes. Hire Tom Donahoe next time.

Agreed. Also, Larry Quinn has a great design firm he could recommend if the whole Donahoe thing doesn't work out.
