3cheesenacho Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 This is probably a dumb questiong, but with us both finishing 7-9, being the only teams that finished 7-9, and them beating us, shouldn't we get the 10th pick? Whats the deal with draft tie-breakers? They should be the same as the playoff tie-breakers
PushthePile Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 It's because of strength of schedule. Now delete this thread as quick as possible, before you get killed.

BLZFAN4LIFE Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I thought that losing to NFC opponents was supposed to help us.
McD Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 It is valid. I hate this silly sh--. Strength of schedule should fall AFTER head to head, but I know they simplify it this way because you might have multiple teams with the same record that might not have played each other (or had a combo of wins/losses over the other teams, etc). Easiest thing to do is strength of schedule...weak, but it is what it is.

In the situations when head to head isn't available then strength of schedule should be the tie breaker but in head to head matchups that game should take precedence.
