I speak of words like honor, code, and loyalty...

....and none of them can be used to descibe Jason Peters.

Or Tom Cruise or Demi Moore, either, dammit!

Too bad the Bills didn't give Peters a Code Red before he left for his physical in Philly.

The funny thing is it is a two way street. How would you feel if your employer was paying the bum next to you millions more than you.

I also hate to burst your bubble -- professional athletes play the game for the money.

Then he shouldn't have signed a contract. Let me ask you this, if he played like a bum under his current contract, do you think that he would have given some of that money back?

While I completely agree with you, it's almost like it's taboo to mention it. But I also agree with the original concept. It's not like he only had a year left on his deal, he had 3 YEARS LEFT on his deal when he first held out. This guy just proved himself to be all about himself. People are always going to sign deals that are a little bit better than yours, but you still play out your deal. No one holds a gun to your head, and no one else was lining up to sign Peters 3 years ago when we did. Hell, there were a few hundred players drafted for free ahead of him.

End result, Peter's was attached to the fans by no more than the "steal" that he was. He only showed us selfishness, and now, his ignorance.

F' him

Are you arguing for some kind of socialist workplace where everyone makes the same?

Here's a bulletin for you: People make different salaries! You get your money coming in. If your company thinks you're worth it, you get it. And what else, they don't give raises to everyone else when that happens because you already work there. The only difference is peoples paychecks are not public information.

Now let's compare this with Jason Peters. He signs a 5-year deal. Then some free agents get a lot of money. Peters gets pissed because the Bills don't run up with a wheelbarrow full of money after they sign Dockery and Walker.

Another bulletin: Dockery and Walker were FREE AGENTS! Peters had 3 YEARS LEFT!! If Peters thought he was going to be worth that kind of scratch he shouldn't have signed a 5 year deal! And even if so, all Peters had to do was tell the Bills he'd like to negotiate a better deal while showing up for camp and playing hard. He'd be a Bill and have his money by now.

But no. Peters showed what kind of player he is by the way he handled himself the last two years. No gratiude for the team made him who he was. In fact he wanted to punish the Bills. He wanted to fork the Bills. Fork his teamates too. And if he had to play, he wasn't going to try very hard. Oh yeah. That's a player you want to reward with a big deal.

Threads like this make me thirsty for Brawndo

No s#it. How many worthless threads about Peters can Tipster start.

We get it. You don't like him.

Teenage girls handle bad breakups better than you are handling this.

Peters will be an all pro in that new-fangled zone blocking offense that has been used by NFL teams since over the past few decades instead of the antiquated system that will amount to less in Buffalo, N.Y. than the red brick road that people drive down on Niagara Falls BLVD near Main Street......

If you can't take the comments, don't start the thread.

I can take the comments, it's the complaining that you're doing about somebody posting about a Bills's player on a Bills' forum that's aggravating. Either contribute to the subject matter or beat it.
